On the website of our travel agency in Peru, www.machupicchu-explorer.com rates are quoted per person in US Dollars (USD). They obviously vary depending on the season, the number of participants, exchange rate etc. The tariffs to be considered are those included in your final quote sent by the local advisor in charge of the travel request in Peru.
All quote requests must be made by e-mail via our travel programs in Peru.

For your registration to be confirmed, a deposit of 50% of the total amount of your trip to Peru must be paid at the time of booking. The balance payment will made at least 30 days before arrival in Peru. If your trip date is within the next 30 days, then we'll require the total amount. The total payment at the time of confirming your trip is also possible.
The settlement of your trip to Peru is done online on via PayPal or our platform Pay to Peru, a secure payment system. The invoice related to it will then be sent as soon as possible to the e-mail address supplied.

If you cancel your trip to Peru, the following cancellation fees apply:
- More than 30 days before departure: 10% of the total amount of the trip fee.
- From 30-21 days before departure date: 15% of the total amount of the trip fee.
- From 20 to 10 days before departure date: 20% of the total amount of the trip fee.
- From 10 to 2 days before departure date: 30% of the total amount of the trip fee.
- Less than 2 days before departure: 100% of the total amount of the trip fee.
As a local travel agency in Peru, we are not authorized to sell international flights. You must therefore book this part of your trip to Peru by yourself. As such, no compensation can be claimed in case of delay or cancellation of your international flights.
Machu Picchu Explorer reserves the right to charge fees for any changes you make to travel program in Peru occurring after the confirmation of your registration for the trip.
These administrative fees are independent of the cost differential involved by modifying your itinerary.
In case of losses, accidents, illnesses or program changes related to weather or any other failures that fall outside our control, Machu Picchu Explorer will be forced to disclaim responsibility.
The additional costs associated with potential delays or flight cancellations are your responsibility.
At any time the customer is responsible for their luggage and personal items. The drivers and guides are unable to keep an eye on your baggage and check that nothing is forgotten in vehicles or on sites visited. Machu Picchu Explorer is not responsible for the loss of personal items which remain at all times and in all circumstances the responsibility of their owners.
Being a company of Peruvian law, Machu Picchu Explorer is not authorized to offer insurance to non-residents in Peruvian territory. Therefore we highly recommend our customers arrange their own travel insurance.
In case you don’t wish to subscribe any insurance, you will have to sign a release of liability, exempting Machu Picchu Explorer. of any responsability.
In disputes in the interpretation of the conditions defined above, a settlement will be offered in the search for an established balance of reciprocal concessions and understanding.
