Welcome to Peruvian soil!! Upon arrival to the Lima International Airport, one of our representatives will be awaiting you to welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. The adventure of this trip will begin in Lima, Peru’s capital.
Overnight in Lima.
Today we will explore the city of Lima, also known as “the city of the kings”. After a re-energizing breakfast in our hotel, we will continue on together with our professional guide to see the center of Lima, considered a world heritage site by UNESCO since 1988. We will walk around its main square surrounded by colonial buildings such as the Monasterio de San Francisco (San Francisco Monastery).
Lastly, we will discover the modern area of Lima along with its coastal beauty, lined with its grand sea and spectacular cliffs. We will visit the Miraflores district, San Isidro, and the Bohemian district of Barranco.
We will take advantage of the evening by discovering the various culinary offers of Peru. Many restaurants of high category will offer you exquisite dishes that will certainly please your taste buds.
Fly time Lima-Arequipa: 1h25
Arequipa is situated at 2300 meters above sea level. (7,554 feet).
The time has come to leave the Peruvian capital and explore our next destination, Arequipa, also known as the “white city”. Early in the morning, we will take a flight to Arequipa, considered the second large city by population of Peru. Surrounded by various volcanoes, among all Misty, this city is characterized by its volcanic rock constructions, the reason for which white radiates throughout the city. Without a doubt, this is an excellent city to see!

Arequipa offers different points of interest that you will discover alongside our professional tour guide. Firstly, we will visit the gorgeous main square (Plaza de Armas), certainly one of the most beautiful in all of the country. Following this, we will visit the Jesus society, as well as the district of Yanahuara. We would like to mention that it is definitely worth visiting the Convento de Santa Catalina (Santa Catalina convent), which dates back to 1579 and is considered to be the largest convent in the world at 20,462 square meters!
At night, we recommend that you try the local cuisine, as many restaurants offer a variation such as the famous "Rocoto Relleno" (stuffed pepper), the adobo, etc.
Chivay is situated at 3600 meters above sea level (11,800 feet)
Today our adventure continues on to the majestic Colca valley, more specifically to Chivay. During our route, we will be able to observe the Chachani volcano as well as the Salinas (saltworks) and Aguada Blanca natural reserve. This will be the ideal chance for wildlife lovers, as we will then be able to see the vicunas (a type of mammal native to the Andes mountains) in their natural environment. Lastly, we will descend downward toward the town of Chivay where we will spend the night.

Puno is situated at 3800 meters above sea level (12,467 feet)
This will be a special day for condor lovers! Early in the morning, we will transfer you a place called the “Cruz del Condor” (Condor Cross), where you can have the privilege of seeing the spectacular Andean condor soaring above us. Lastly, we will pass through Colca Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in the world. After this heartwarming experience, we will head towards our next destination, Puno in the afternoon.

The Taquile Island is situated at 4000 meters above sea level (13,123 feet)
Lake Titicaca is a legendary site, according to the legend that says the founders of the Inca Empire (Manco Capac and Mama Ocllo) left this lake to later found the great empire in Cusco.
In the morning we will head toward Puno’s port to board the speedboat which will transfer us to the first visiting point, the island of Uros, which consists of a group of floating islands made by reed whose inhabitants work primarily as craftsmen. Next, we will be transferred to the famous island of Taquile, primarily known for its men who have a reputation for being expert weavers. The population of Taquile is known to be warm and kind, which allows us to get to know their way of life as we enjoy the beautiful, spectacular views of Lake Titicaca.
At the end of the afternoon, we will return to Puno.

Travel time: 7 hours by tourist bus (out from visit time).
Cusco is located at 3400 (11200 feet) meters above sea level.
Early in the morning, we’ll board our tourist bus which will transfer us to the “Ruta del Sol” (Sun Route) which will take us to Cusco. We will visit emblematic sites such as the Andahuaylillas and its famous chapel, the Rachi archaeological center, and the Pre-Inca site known as Pukara. After experiencing this authentic experience on Lake Titicaca, our journey will continue on to one of the most famous destinations in the world, Machu Picchu.
To end the afternoon, we will head towards the city of Cusco to later be transferred to a comfortable hotel in the city center.

The city of Cusco is one of the most important destinations of Peru. It was the ancient capital of the Inca empire, with its streets and buildings still reflecting its grand historical past. Due to this, the city is known as “the belly button of the world”. In the morning/afternoon, our professional guide will accompany you to discover the best of this Inca city. We will begin by visiting the Temple of the Sun (also called Qoricancha). After, we will visit the treasures that the Basilica Cathedral of Cusco has to offer, and then finish by visiting the ruins adjacent to the city, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay.
In the evening, spend at your leisure enjoying the local cuisine, music, and the lights of Cusco at night, the surrounding hills and the sky overhead littered with stars.

The Sacred Valley lies at 2800 meters above sea level (9,190 meters).
Aguas Calientes lies at 2040 meters above sea level. (6,690 feet).
Travel time between Ollantaytambo and Aguas Calientes: 1 hour 40 min by train.
Our adventure continues onto the Sacred Valley of the Incas, an enigmatic place whose fertile, beautiful lands and gorgeous landscapes were intelligently taken advantage of by the ancient Peruvian people. Our first visit will be to Pisac, a greatly important archaeological site whose shape and construction are inspired by a local bird (the Puna partridge). Straight away, we will visit the local market, famous for its products that they trade there. In the afternoon, we will go on towards Ollantaytambo, a place that clearly shows how the Incans designed their cities with narrow streets and lovely canals, all in harmony with its natural environment. We will then visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo with its spectacular Incan terraces that will take our breath away, not to mention the spectacular views of the Sacred Valley from them! At the end of the afternoon, we will board the train to our next stop, the town of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu town.

Machu Picchu is located at 2400 meters above sea level (7,900 feet).
This will be a memorable day during your visit in Peru, given that you will see one of the Wonders of the World that all travelers dream of visiting, we mean the historical sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Early in the morning, our professional guide will pick you up from your hotel to board the bus to the Machu Picchu citadel all together (20 min trip). Once in Machu Picchu, you will visit the farming and urban zones, as well as its main temples. The tour will take about an hour and a half, after which you will have time to explore the ancient city on your own as well as take additional photographs.
In the afternoon, we will return to Cusco on a comfortable train.
