Day 2:  Cusco city tour

A very quiet morning begins on your second day. You’ll have the chance to explore the city during this day. Cusco is also known as «the navel of the world» because of its importance as the capital of the Inca empire.  Temples, stone streets, Colonial houses, colorful outfits, art galleries, museums and nice people will certainly delight you. During the morning we recommend you to visit the San Blas neighborhood and be impressed by the cusquenian artisans.

In the afternoon, our tour begins by visiting the faboulous  Cathedral of Cusco where you’ll find a great painting collection of the «cusquenian school», then we’ll visit the temple of Qoricancha (temple of the sun), the most important in the city. Finally we’ll visit the spectacular ruins of the Sacsayhuaman fortress/temple overlooking the city, as well as the ruins of Q'enko, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay nearby.
In the evening, spend at your leisure enjoying the local cuisine, music, and the lights of Cusco at night, the surrounding hills and the sky overhead littered with stars
Overnight in Cusco.

Day 3:Tour Maras, Moray & Salineras

After breakfast, we’ll begin our tour heading to the northwest of the city. All along our path we’ll see incredible landscapes such as mountains, peaks, and the plein of Maras where many of the products we consume in Cusco, come from. The first archeological site to visit is Moray, which was an important agricultural laboratory; their terraces measuring up to 150 meters deep represent the advanced knowledge to adapt the crops at the time. Later we’ll continue our visit to the village of Maras where we can see an excellent colonial architecture such as the church San Francisco.  We’ll finalize our visit by visiting the famous site of Salineras, which is a salt mine where locals still get the salt the Incas used to extract, we estimate that there are around 3000 salt wells. Many products made from salt are also offered during your visit.
Way back to the hotel at the end of the day.
Overnight in Cusco.

Day 4: Cusco - Sacred Valley - Aguas Calientes

Our day will begin by visiting the wonderful landscape of the magical Sacred Valley, home to several royal estates of Incan emperors. First, you will visit the town of Pisac, famous for its indigenous market and for the beautiful Incan ruins that overlooks the city. In the market, you will have the opportunity to browse the beautiful handicrafts, local fruits, vegetables, and other natural products. While exploring the Pisac ruins above, you’ll be delighted by the magic of the the valley, its architecture will allow you to understand the harmony betwen the inca constructions and the nature.
After visiting Pisac, we will stop for lunch, we’ll enjoy a variety of Peruvian and international food near the town of Urubamba. Next, we’ll visit the spectacular fortress of Ollantaytambo. This magnificent place was part of the royal estate of the Incan emperor Pachacuteq. The small town of Ollantaytambo still keeps the houses that Inca used to live in, narrow streets and beautiful canals are part of this.
