Cusco, also known as the "bellybutton of the world" is a charming place. You will be able to get to experience its architectural beauty, its traditional neighborhoods, the beautiful Plaza de Armas (its main square), as well as its various gastronomical delights.
Cusco's main points of interests are the Cathedral, the Temple of the Sun (known as the Qoricancha), the San Blas district and San Pedro market among many others.

The city of Cusco is one of the most important destinations of Peru. It was the ancient capital of the Inca empire, with its streets and buildings still reflecting its grand historical past. Due to this, the city is known as “the belly button of the world”. In the morning/afternoon, our professional guide will accompany you to discover the best of this Inca city. We will begin by visiting the Temple of the Sun (also called Qoricancha). After, we will visit the treasures that the Basilica Cathedral of Cusco has to offer, and then finish by visiting the ruins adjacent to the city, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay.
In the evening, spend at your leisure enjoying the local cuisine, music, and the lights of Cusco at night, the surrounding hills and the sky overhead littered with stars.

Our adventure will continue on towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, an enigmatic place whose fertile lands and beautiful landscapes were intelligently taken advantage of by the ancient Peruvian people. Firstly, we will visit “Colorido Poblado de Chincheros” (the colorful town of Chincheros). This town is famous because of the many women who live here and possess expert textile-making skills and weaving of distinct beauty. After, we will visit Maras and Moray, an enigmatic place where you can find large, circular agricultural terraces that would have been used as an “agricultural laboratory” for the Incas. A few kilometers from Moray, you will find several salt mines that have taken the name “Salinas de Maras”, a beautiful landscape whose inhabitants have worked on the extraction of salt since the Incanato times.
In the afternoon, we will transfer you to a comfortable hotel in the Urubamaba Valley to settle in.
Aguas Calientes lies at 2040 meters above sea level. (6,690 feet).
Travel time between Ollantaytambo and Aguas Calientes: 1 hour 40 min by train.
Today we shall continue to discover the Sacred Valley! Our first destination will be the typical town called Pisac, known for its local market and spectacular Incan agricultural terraces. To continue, we will transfer you to Ollantaytambo to finally see this Incan city and its fortress. Lastly, to end the afternoon, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes, a small town located at the foothills of Machu Picchu where we will spend the night.

Machu Picchu is located at 2400 meters above sea level (7,900 feet).
This will be a memorable day during your visit in Peru, given that you will see one of the Wonders of the World that all travelers dream of visiting, we mean the historical sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Early in the morning, our professional guide will pick you up from your hotel to board the bus to the Machu Picchu citadel all together (20 min trip). Once in Machu Picchu, you will visit the farming and urban zones, as well as its main temples. The tour will take about an hour and a half, after which you will have time to explore the ancient city on your own as well as take additional photographs.
In the afternoon, we will return to Cusco on a comfortable train.
